2022-2023 Contest

The 2022-2023 contest task was Play a Game, and the contest was at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Township on Friday, January 20, 2023. Blackhawk High School received third place, Franklin Regional finished in second place, and congratulations to our first place team, Hempfield Area High School!

In addition to the finalist awards, many special awards were granted. The Most Innovative award, sponsored by Jones Day, went to Brentwood High School (Team B). The Most Green machine was from Penn Trafford High School (Team A), and the award was sponsored by ALCOSAN. Mohawk High School received the Most Efficient Reset award, presented #1 Radon Tester. Westinghouse Electric Company LLC sponsored the Longest Successfully Executed Contraption award, which went to Blackhawk High School.

Congratulations to all of the schools that participated in the 2022-2023 contest and thanks to all of the volunteers and participants who made the event such a success.
